China has a long history and a rich variety of cultural traditions, including the Spring Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival, and the Mid-Autumn Festival. To preserve this heritage, communities—particularly in rural areas—continue to organize traditional ceremonies and activities.
These events create a festive atmosphere, strengthen people's connection with traditional culture, and help younger generations understand their country's history. The dragon-boat race, for example, introduces many young people to the story of Qu Yuan and his devotion to his country. Traditional culture therefore serves as a bridge between the past and the present.
Society should encourage citizens to learn about and participate in traditional cultural activities. At the same time, preservation should remain thoughtful and inclusive. Our history and culture form an important part of our shared identity.
